Heal From Trauma:

Find Strength and Transformation with Trauma-Informed Therapy

If you’ve experienced trauma, you may be struggling with your mental health, relationships, or daily life. Whether it’s the result of a single traumatic event or years of emotional, physical, or psychological abuse, trauma can leave lasting effects. But healing is possible.

Through my practice, I provide trauma-informed therapy that creates a safe, supportive environment where you can process your trauma at your own pace. With a compassionate, holistic approach, I help you reclaim your sense of self, develop resilience, and regain control over your life.

What is Trauma-Informed Therapy?

Trauma-informed therapy acknowledges the profound impact trauma can have on your emotional and mental health, well-being, and relationships. This therapeutic approach provides a space where you can explore your trauma and begin the process of healing.

Whether you are coping with PTSD from a single incident or grappling with the complexities of long-term abuse or neglect, trauma-informed therapy, in conjunction with psychopharmacology or other supportive services, can help you rebuild your life.

Key Elements of My Approach:

Somatic Therapy

Trauma is stored in the body, and somatic therapy helps release that stored energy. By reconnecting with your body and addressing its physical responses to trauma, we can improve both your mental and physical well-being.

Experiential Healing & Imaginal Visualizations

Using guided imagery, we’ll dive deep into traumatic memories in a safe way. This allows you to shift your relationship with past experiences and create new, healthier coping strategies for the future.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)

A breakthrough in trauma treatment, ART can help you process traumatic memories and reduce emotional distress quickly, with long-lasting results.

Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP)

AEDP leverages the therapeutic relationship to create a secure and corrective emotional experience. By tapping into the emotions stored within, we facilitate powerful healing.

Parts Work

Trauma often affects different parts of the self. We’ll work with these parts to integrate them and heal the parts of you that were most affected by trauma.

Trauma-Informed Stabilization Therapy (TIST)

TIST helps you stabilize your nervous system and develop emotional regulation skills. We’ll build acceptance and compassion for your traumatized parts, allowing you to manage triggers more effectively.

Polyvagal Theory (Deb Dana Trained)

Using principles of polyvagal theory, we’ll address how your nervous system responds to stress. This helps you understand your reactions to triggering events and develop better strategies for self-regulation.

Co-Regulation Practices

Co-regulation allows us to strengthen your connection to others and reduce the need for emotional guarding or blending with others. By engaging in these practices, you’ll build healthier emotional relationships and develop stronger self-awareness.

How Trauma-Informed Therapy Works:

My approach is built on creating a foundation of trust and safety. Together, we will:

  • Explore how the impact of trauma is presently showing up in your life.
  • Identify how parts of yourself have been fragmented as a result of traumatic experiences
  • Gently and slowly process traumatic memories and emotions in order to create a more integrated sense of Self.
  • Develop effective methods of self regulation, self compassion and adaptive coping mechanisms.
  • Restore a sense of present moment safety and rebuild trust in yourself and others.

The Benefits of Trauma-Informed Therapy

  • Reduced symptoms of PTSD and trauma-related disorders.
  • Improved emotional regulation and resilience.
  • Strengthened relationships and social connections.
  • Increased self-esteem and self-worth.

Healing from trauma is not just about surviving—it’s about thriving. With the right support, you can transform your pain into strength and live a more meaningful, fulfilling life.
